Stephanie HI love it here! From the first open mat we came too, knew this was the best gym in Nashville. Added an extra 20 minutes to our commute to train and worth every second. Great technique that’s applicable to your game, different high level instructors and coaches through out the week to get different insights. I’ve been training on and off for a few years and had a hard time finding a gym I like as much as where I moved from. Easy pick for here. The guys are ALL safe rolls, the women are tough and so supportive, the vibes are top notch and everyone is SO NICE. Every one of my friends I’ve brought to open mat or to drop in for a class have been like “yeah this is the spot”. Absolutely my happy place.Posted on Google

Stacey EdingtonI am a woman and have been doing bjj for about 4 years. We are very lucky that our gym has multiple black belts and a good set of high belts in general. You get to learn from a variety of coaches which has provided a lot of gains for my game. I can be my fiercest self at this gym and appreciate that. There is a strong female group and all men that train here are safe. I highly recommend broken anvil for anyone that is new to bjj or to anyone that isn’t into murder pajamas.
