Stephanie HI love it here! From the first open mat we came too, knew this was the best gym in Nashville. Added an extra 20 minutes to our commute to train and worth every second. Great technique that’s applicable to your game, different high level instructors and coaches through out the week to get different insights. I’ve been training on and off for a few years and had a hard time finding a gym I like as much as where I moved from. Easy pick for here. The guys are ALL safe rolls, the women are tough and so supportive, the vibes are top notch and everyone is SO NICE. Every one of my friends I’ve brought to open mat or to drop in for a class have been like “yeah this is the spot”. Absolutely my happy place.Posted on Google
Edwin GarciaBest BJJ gym in Nashville! Tough, nice, funny and energetic group of grapplers. Prof. Clayton is an awesome instructor and looks out for his students.Posted on Google
Liam DeeganSuper friendly, technical instruction and a mix of all levels from beginner to advanced. Highly recommend when in Nashville.Posted on Google
Stacey EdingtonI am a woman and have been doing bjj for about 4 years. We are very lucky that our gym has multiple black belts and a good set of high belts in general. You get to learn from a variety of coaches which has provided a lot of gains for my game. I can be my fiercest self at this gym and appreciate that. There is a strong female group and all men that train here are safe. I highly recommend broken anvil for anyone that is new to bjj or to anyone that isn’t into murder pajamas. The community is great and you’ll be stronger and have a better game than ever!Posted on Google

Miranda DeRosaDropped in to try the Ladies class and was super nervous at first but as soon as I walked in the door I was met with welcoming vibes. The instructor was patient and clear in demonstrating the moves. The facility was clean and the energy was great!! Can’t wait to attend another class!Posted on Google
Stephanie LockhartI was visiting town and dropped in for a class. Everyone was so welcoming. There were more women here than at my home gym and their skill level was impressive! I will definitely be back when I visit again. Thank you for having me!Posted on Google
Todd WStopped by while in town. Clean gym, tough guys and great rounds to push you.
